Mmm, yeah. Hi. Been gone for a bit and suddenly feel compelled to connect via the blogosphere world again. I have a project in my head that somehow captures the essence of some incredible things I've been learning about myself through this messy, horrible, yet oddly mixed-blessing of a divorce. I've discovered that words, language, they are just not adequate enough to share my story. So I am turning to my art. This is the first installment, so to speak, about where I am now. I have more to come that will show, not tell, about where I have been.

quiet,
resilient,
effortlessly strong.

she bends gracefully,
grounded
in her
growth
..yet..
flexible with the will
of the wind.

she brings beauty to the world,
in all it's current gloomy drab.

she has arrived.

it is her turn to provide the shelter,
her turn to shade you from the swealtering heat
of
this world.

she has arrived.

Weary, watching eyes, wait patiently as she comes more sharply into focus.
